We offer a variety of unique gifts... many of them handmade; clothing, fine wool hats, kitchen items, hand-blown glass, vintage linens, old glassware, aromatherapy, antiques and some furnishings. |

Wooden toys for all ages: fire trucks, trains, snowmobiles and nesting boxes to name a few. Ethnic wood-burning on eggs or boxes. Pens and bottle stoppers created from moose antlers. Beautiful portraits, photographs, paintings in oil and watercolors all displayed in a homey setting. |

The building was originally built in three sections. The middle section in 1811; the front section which houses Creative Natives was built in 1825. In the 1920s the rear section was added when the building became Colebrook's first hospital. Sam & Angie Weeks ran Weeks Tavern in the 1930s, followed by Mr. & Mrs. Orrie Crawford who ran it as the Crawford Inn from the mid-1940s until its sale to Willard Nugent in 1956. At the same time he purchased the abutting garage property. |

Willard Nugent opened Colebrook's first convenience store operating 24 hours a day with full-service gasoline pumps. At this time the station served as dispatch for the Colebrook Police & Fire Departments. The two-headed calf was introduced and displayed in the front window delighting visitors until the renovation of 2002, when she was moved to a safe location where she may one day be on display for the public in an adjoining museum. |
